Aubra Houchin, D.O.

Dr. Houchin has been at Christian Family Medicine in St. Peters for over 25 years. After starting his career as an Air Force flight surgeon, he completed a family practice residency at Scott AFB and went on to be a family physician at Whiteman AFB.

In 1988, he joined Dr. Michael Adams and Aubra Houchinhas continued to practice complete family medicine from newborns to nursing homes. His osteopathic training allows him to evaluate all facets of patient care. Dr. Houchin enjoys handling muscular problems as well as orthopedic injuries and is comfortable with all areas of medical illness. He is especially fond of children and has extensive experience with geriatric care.

Dr. Houchin is very involved in leadership at Barnes Jewish St. Peters Hospital. A previous Chief of Staff, he is now the Chief of Outpatient Medicine at Barnes Jewish St. Peters and is Medical Director of Occupational Health there. He works regularly with the case coordination team and Utilization Management at the hospital.
